Who We Are

Dixie Dyeing established itself as a textile dyer in 1990, serving Canadian and American garment manufacturers. With the decline of the North American apparel manufacturing industry, Dixie Dyeing developed additional core competencies to serve a growing number of global and domestic brands seeking innovative textiles. Today, our dye house serves niche domestic manufacturers with basic, luxury, and performance dyed yarns. And, our knitting department provides local brands and businesses with custom socks. Our strength lies in the expertise of our employees and a commitment to quality. Our sock designers and dyeing specialists perform specification and quality checks at multiple points throughout production to ensure a quality product that you're proud to put your name on.

We strive to offer competitive products and pricing by investing in key areas of research and development. Key initiatives include product development, operations efficiency, and environmental impact reduction. We also regularly invest in upgrading and acquiring new machinery to enhance our sock knitting capabilities, which currently include machines ranging from 96 needles to 200 needles.
